Not exactly top tier but decent enough for the price

Harry the owner was a life saver spent an hour helping me figure out my payment issues and the room had a great waterfront view which I loved when I woke up my last morning here

staying at south bay motel was a treat. the waterfront king room was amazing! harry, the owner, went way out of his way to help me with my payment issue. his positive attitude was really uplifting. the place is clean and close to several restaurants, making it super convenient.

I stayed here for a night and honestly, Harry, the owner, was super helpful when I had payment issues. He really went out of his way to sort things out for me. The waterfront room was nice, but the linen could've been fresher. I also loved that they had a diner on site—great for late-night snacks!

This place is just 5 minutes from my daughter's house, which made visiting her super convenient. Plus, the large room had everything we needed for a family getaway, including space for our non-service dog. The nearby ice cream shop was a real hit with the kids.

In my wife’s opinion, the noise from the upstairs guests was quite bothersome at night. More soundproofing between rooms would be great for families.

I really enjoyed the waterfront view and the room was surprisingly clean. Harry went out of his way to assist me, which I truly appreciated. The atmosphere was relaxing!

I had a great time during my stay, enjoying the short walk to Tanner Park, where I could take in the beautiful views, and the convenience of having Dunkin' just a few steps away to fuel my mornings. the staff were also really accommodating during my visit.

I encountered some noise disturbances from upstairs guests and had trouble with the TV not being properly set up when I arrived.

Stayed here to celebrate a birthday and had a surprisingly pleasant experience. Like my previous stay elsewhere in copiague, south bay motel exceeded my expectations with its comfy king room and friendly service. The owner was helpful, ensuring everything went smoothly during my stay.

shower pressure was too low

I loved the beautiful lakeside view from my room. it was so refreshing and peaceful. The lovely decor made me feel cozy, and I appreciated the easy access to common areas without any stairs.

Better soundproofing between rooms would help immensely.
